BURUNDİ
Burundi, or officially the Republic of Burundi, is a country located in the southwestern portion of Africa. The neighbors of the country named Ngola in the languages of Kimbundu, Umbundu, and Kikongo, are Namibia in the south, the Democratic Republic of Congo in the northeast, and Zambia in the east, and the Atlantic Ocean is located in the west of the country. Cabinda territory, which has no physical connection with the mainland although it is connected to Burundi and located in the north of the country on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, has borders with the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as the Republic of Congo. Its capital city is Luanda.
According to the results of the latest official census conducted in 2008, the population of Burundi was determined to be 8.053.574. Currently, this is the last official census and the population was determined to be 11.844.520 according to the 2018 estimated census data.
Its official language is Kirundi and French.
